Having the Perfect Mother

This was my second grade gift to my mom on Mother's Day. It was among several she saved, which I discovered after her passing in February of 2000.

My mother wasn't perfect, but she was perfect for me.

  3. I have a card that was sent to me by my son years ago, which I also saved. I guess since he is gone before me, nobody will know how much it means to me. Until now, when I get to tell YOU! :-) Happy Mother's Day, Teresa.

  11. Sweet. I hold a very similar view of my mother. Perhaps we choose our parents to provide for our optimal development as people.
