When God Made Cowboys

Gather round, little buckaroos, once in a while there is something worth checking out in the online news. This is one of them. "Buck," is a new film about the real Horse Whisperer, Buck Brannaman. I like horses, and I like cowboys, so it's a no-brainer for me (be nice). As one of the critics said,  "This movie might make you a better person."  I might not be the only one who could benefit from that. It's a beautiful trailer and a beautiful idea, put into practice by what appears to be a beautiful man. And, as trite as some folks might find it, I think I could agree with what one man said about Buck,  "God had him in mind when he made a cowboy."

  12. Thanks, Ladies, I think this will be well worth watching and yes, maybe even owning, and I don't buy too many videos. It does my heart untold good, just knowing there is someone so full of compassion for horses and their people out there making a real difference.

  16. Might have to break our spree of no movies in eons to see this one, I think I read a book or saw a tv movie about a horse whisperer; animals can tell who to trust that's for sure.

  17. Cowboys, huh? Trouble is, most of them in Montana are like Chance and Rooney. Ha ha But there's a mystique about them.

  20. Linda, Robert Redfor played a version of this guy in a movie called, "The Horse Whisperer," several years ago. Perhaps you're recalling that one. yes, animals do know who they can trust. Very much so.

Manzi, Yeah, it seems those cowboys can be trouble, but we like 'em anyway... ;)

Joan, Google it on youtube and you'll find a couple of nice trailers for it. It's good to hear from you. Tennessee has a different type of cowboy.... I've known one or two. :)

Paul, That is Very nice. I like it, a lot. Thank you.
