I have a card that was sent to me by my son years ago, which I also saved. I guess since he is gone before me, nobody will know how much it means to me. Until now, when I get to tell YOU! :-) Happy Mother's Day, Teresa.
Hello Teresa: How lovely to have discovered such treasures after your mother's death and to know that she kept them throughout the years - a token in itself of her love for you.
We do so hope that you are having a happy and enjoyable day.
Such sweet memories! I love how you said your mother was perfect for you, so nice, so very nice. Your drawings are darling. It's interesting how you you expressed your love so neatly inside the box/circle.
How sweet, often we never know what is in other's hearts and minds, perfect for you. Happy Mother's Day to you.
ReplyDeleteAwww, Teresa, that is so sweet! and yes, isn't it amazing that we get what we need for who we are?

A Happy Mother's Day to each of you, as well.
Sweet. I hold a very similar view of my mother. Perhaps we choose our parents to provide for our optimal development as people.
ReplyDeleteShe also had a lovely daughter.
ReplyDeleteDan, Yes, I have heard that before and I do wonder if that isn't so....in my case, it certainly seems so, as it seems for you.
ReplyDeleteFriko, What a nice thing to say. Thank you, so very much. I trust your own Mother's Day was peaceful, and no fire trucks were called. :)
Those children's cards are the best kind. How lovely that your mother saved them and you know it!
