To the Playground

For the past several days, I've been getting the nudge to take a break from blogging. I feel the need to step away. Today, the sun is shining brilliantly, not a cloud in sight, and it seems to be mirroring my decision back to me. I am very grateful that I followed through on my desire to share the beautiful art of Katherine Bowling before doing so. What a perfect place to take a break. It might mean a few days, but my sense is it will be somewhat longer. I will be back, I'm quite certain, but now calls for something else. That something else? I think I've forgotten how to have fun. So, I'm going to change that. I don't know what that means yet, but I aim to find out. I'll let you know.

  5. I'm gonna miss you...but I'm cheering you on. It seems we are all looking inward and choosing to move outward in new directions for new adventures. You go for it...and let us know from time to time how and what you are finding fun in. But I must say that your blog will remain on my list for visiting just to check in on you. This is a wonderfully supportive community out here, and we'll be here for you.
    Hugs,

  6. Good for you, Teresa. Take that break and have some fun, and don't return until blogging itself is part of the fun. Celebrate this precious life, every moment in every circumstance. We look forward to your return.

  7. Whoop do doo ........ girl blogger on the loose. Beware. Where ever that wanderlust fun quest takes you, it could provide fun posts later on and then maybe not!!!! Just depends on how much personal information is good for our ears. Kidding about that but hope you find some blessed chime-ringing this time of year. You go girl.
    Love to you, Manzi

  8. Yep. Sometimes you just need to step away for awhile. We're coming into the season of deep dormancy and at times our entire being demands hibernation and internal reflection. I hope you find what inspires and rejuvenates you there.

  14. Just go with the flow, Teresa. I follow the "blogging without obligation" philosophy which is so sensible.

If you decide to come back...well, we'll be here. I hope you're having a wonderful time.
